One of the great things about mass participation events like the Cape Town Cycle Tour is that it provides a platform to raise funds, which are often invested into the local community.
We had the privilege to help the Cape of Good Hope SPCA with their #TEAMSPCA campaign wherein participants can pledge a certain amount to obtain a guaranteed entry into next year’s CTCT.
The surplus money obviously goes to the animals and giving them – as they term it – “a second chance at life”.
I think it is a fantastic campaign. Support them if you can. Even if it is just to feel good about yourself.
