Cape Pioneer Trek results & GC: Hatherly, Andreassen win stage three TT

Alan Hatherly and Simon Andreassen won the 31km time-trial on stage three of the Cape Pioneer Trek in George today.

The Team Spur-Specialized pair completed the route in 1:13:30, finishing almost a minute faster than PYGA Euro Steel’s Philip Buys and Matthys Beukes in second. Buys and Beukes, however, retained their race lead.

KMC Focus Team’s Trommer Cemile and Karen Brouwer won the women’s team category in 1:34:57, while Silverback Volvo Mad Macs Kawasaki’s Yolande de Villiers and Charlie McFall took the spoils in 1:28:06.
